How does Airbyte's Cloud pricing work?

Airbyte Cloud is usage-based, so you only pay for what you sync. This typically includes any data created, updated or deleted. As your volume grows, the price you pay scales with you.

Credits are how we unify usage across all types of sources. The standard price of a credit is $2.50, and credit usage is calculated depending on the source you're syncing from:

 API source: $15 per million rows synced, or 6 credits
Database, warehouse and file source: 
$10 per GB synced, or 4 credits
Custom source: 
$15 per million rows synced, or 6 credits

You can purchase credits anytime directly through your Airbyte workspace with a credit card. If you prefer to pay via ACH or are interested in high-volume discounts, contact us.

Are historical syncs free?

A historical sync is the first sync in a connection and can be a large amount of data. We offer a 14-day account trial with 400 free credits in Airbyte Cloud that can be used with any of our connectors.

If you are interested in additional free historical syncs for every connector after the trial period ends, you must purchase a bulk credit package through Sales, which requires a minimum purchase of $20,000. 

Are resyncs included for free?

Resyncs are sometimes required to reload all data or when handling breaking schema changes. These are not included in any Cloud plan. Any costs associated to a full resync of your data follows the same pricing structure above.

Do you offer discounts for higher volumes?

If you anticipate an annual price higher than $20,000, we encourage you to talk to our sales team to access additional discounts or custom packages to fit your needs.

Do purchased credits expire?

Credits you purchase will expire after one year. If you have concerns about your credits expiring before you can use them, reach out to our team through the in-app Support portal.

Why are sources priced differently?

Data replication from database sources and files consume less compute time and therefore costs less for Airbyte. We pass those savings onto our customers through our pricing model.

Does Airbyte offer discounts for startups?

Airbyte offers discount pricing for eligible Y Combinator startups. If you would like to learn more about your eligibility, visit ELT Program for YC Startups.

What topics does Professional support cover and what SLAs do you offer?

Professional Support can assist with connections, deployment, upgrade management, and connector development troubleshooting.  We can’t solve your own infrastructure-related issues but we will guide you to fix them.  Learn more about covered topics here.

We offer custom SLAs based on your needs and the severity of the issue. The standard SLA is 24 hours for Sev0-Sev1 severity and 48h for Sev2-Sev3 between 7am – 7pm ET (Monday through Friday).

Do you offer support for Community connectors?

Only Certified and Custom connectors are under SLA. If you are using a Community connector, we will do our best to support it but can’t guarantee we can resolve your issue.
